Represents the Republic of Mongolia for its nationals in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Falls under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mongolia and is therefore no subject to the jurisdiction of the receiving State in respect of transactions which are in the exercise of consular duties.
Represents the Republic of Mongolia particularly in providing visas and promoting trade relations.
Does not enjoy diplomatic immunity. This also includes personnel from the Netherlands.

What the Honorary Consul can do for you

  • Promote trade intermediary between the Republic of Mongolia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
  • Promote cultural mediation between the Republic of Mongolia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
  • Issue visas and provide information sessions for traveling to and in the Republic of Mongolia.
  • Explain the conditions under which the voting rights in the Kingdom of the Netherlands may be exercised.

What the Honorary Consul cannot do for you

  • Return home at the expense of the Honorary Consul, unless there is a serious situation. Even then, remember that your costs should be reimbursed.
  • Pay fines, hotel bills, hospital bills and other bills.
  • Provide money and other resources in advance.
  • Provide a passport and / or license.
  • Handling of formalities in the field of civil status, such as marriage, divorce, birth, death, etc.
  • Assist with transportation of remains (laissez-passer).
  • Handling of formalities in the field of personal and family rights and notary.
  • Provide assistance to nationals of the Republic of Mongolia with financial problems, illness and death problems with local authorities and / or individuals.
  • Assist in emigration of nationals of the Republic of Mongolia.
  • Provide protection for nationals of the Republic of Mongolia held in detention, a serious accident or are missing.
